About Me
Hello and welcome to YogaBodyPT.
My name is Evangeline Ventura. My passion is to balance mindfulness with physical movement to maximize the well-being and the ultimate potential of the individual. My multidisciplinary training allows be to address many of the issues that are preventing you from embracing an active lifestyle. Restoring the individual’s joy of living is my driving passion.
I have been more than two decades in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, and teaching yoga for over 3 years. My formal education includes a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Behavioral Science (San Jose State University , 1999) and Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy (Cal State University at Long Beach, 2002). Additionally, I’ve completed multiple advanced courses in manual therapy training through the Institute of Physical Arts and P-DTR.

Physical Therapy
Masters of Physical Therapy. CalState Long Beach, 2002.
20+ years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics clinic in the SF Bay Area.
Specialized training through the Institute of Physical Arts (IPA ). IPA coursework includes but not exclusive to treatment of mechanical (soft tissue/ joints ) dysfunctions of the coccyx, pelvic girdle, shoulder girdle, viscera, nerves, and gait mechanics. Once optimal soft tissue and joint mobility is achieved, it is then followed by proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (pnf) techniques and therapeutic exercises to normalize and optimize movement patterns.
